Getting Started with Payable Pro: Create a Kiosk This article will take you through the steps to configure a kiosk with your Payable Pro account. Create a kiosk if you intend to conduct transactions in person - your Google Form questions will be turned into a kiosk flow that can be displayed on any tablet, laptop, or chromebook. For kiosk transactions you can either pair with a Square terminal for physical card payments, or use an on-screen QR code that customers will scan to complete payment on their mobile devices. In this example Jen has created a kiosk to use on her tablet titled "Jen's Tablet Kiosk", and the kiosk will display her St. Barths 2024 Group Trip registration form. Jen does not have a payment terminal for physical card payments, so her kiosk will display a QR code after each order - customers will take a photo of the QR code displayed on the kiosk to complete their payment online. Setting Up Your Kiosk Hardware

Go to https://kiosk.pybl.io/ on the device you have chosen for your kiosk (any tablet, laptop, chromebook, or device with a browser can be used as a kiosk!)

Enter the Login Code as shown in your kiosk settings - this will load your kiosk questions on the device

Connecting a payment provider is integral as you will need a provider to process your financial transactions. Since we are not the payment provider we do not intercept your funds, and do not see sensitive customer payment data.

At present Payable Pro is configured for use with Square; we are working to support use with PayPal and Stripe in the future.

If you want to accept in-person, physical card payments you'll need to link a Square terminal to your account. When paired with a form orders placed through your kiosk can be paid immediately via physical debit and credit cards. With card present payments you are subject to a lower payment processing fee - minimizing your overhead costs, we love that for you!

From your Quick Start Dashboard click Connect a Card Reader
On the Payment Terminals page click Add New Square Terminal
In the pop-up window enter a device name - this is helpful if you are managing multiple terminals and want to easily differentiate them

For existing users To setup additional terminals in your account navigate to the Payment Terminals page under Connections, in your Payable Pro menu on the left-hand side of your page. Once on the Payment Terminals page click Add New Square Terminal. In the pop-up window enter a device name - this is helpful if you are managing multiple terminals and want to easily differentiate them.

Let's start off by saying it's not mandatory that your Payable Pro Google Forms are collecting customer email addresses, it is possible for your customers to go through your online or kiosk order flow without providing their email address to you. But - if you want your customers to receive an email copy of their order summary and checkout link, you'll want to make sure you're capturing their email address. It's also important to note that the Payable checkout page updates to a receipt once the order is paid, so a customer can always pull up their receipt with the email we send to them.

Open your Google Form
Click on the Settings section
Expand the Responses tab on the Settings page
Set Collect Email Addresses to 'Responder Input'
That's it!

||| Note: If you create a question on your form to collect customer's email addresses, we will not be able to email them order notifications. Only Google Form's email collection question as outlined above will pass on a customers email to us.
