How to Set up your Physical Kiosk Hardware with Payable Pro
Once you've set up your kiosk devices and configurations with Payable Pro, you may be wondering "What now?". This article will help you through the steps to take when you're ready to take your kiosk live and start accepting payments in-person.
In this example Jen has created a kiosk to use on her tablet titled "Jen's Tablet Kiosk", and the kiosk will display her St. Barths 2024 Group Trip registration form. Jen does not have a payment terminal for physical card payments, so her kiosk will display a QR code after each order - customers will take a photo of the QR code displayed on the kiosk to complete their payment online.
Setting Up Your Kiosk Hardware
Go to https://kiosk.pybl.io/ on the device you have chosen for your kiosk (any tablet, laptop, chromebook, or device with a browser can be used as a kiosk!)
Enter the Login Code as shown in your kiosk settings - this will load your kiosk questions on the device
a. If you will be using the QR code checkout method with your kiosk, then there's nothing further to do
b. If you have connected a Square terminal to your kiosk, read here to pair the terminal with your kiosk device
Feel free to make a submission on your kiosk to see the user flow & ensure it is set-up and looking exactly how you want it to.
